About Us
A peculiar publisher, proud of it
A small publisher with big stories
A peculiar publisher, making books with roots
Editorial Sin Cabeza was founded twelve years ago when a bookseller friend looked at us with a huge smile and told us we were crazy. Crazy for betting on such a niche publisher in the midst of a book crisis. She was right. And still, we did it.
Behind every book is Sandra Araguás: author, researcher of oral tradition literature, and editor. A voice that travels the land collecting stories that have been passed down for centuries, and who also creates new stories with the same warmth and love for words.
We are committed to "kilometer zero" in everything we do: illustrators from this land, a printing press ten minutes from home, a layout artist, a proofreader... close, committed, professional people. Because quality and proximity are not at odds, quite the opposite.
We want families to feel that closeness when they open one of our books. We want the stories to speak to them, the illustrations to captivate them, and for them to know that behind it all are real people, from here, who have put all their care into every page.
Headless, but with our feet on the ground.
